Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist who is currently fighting with the Flyweight Division of the UFC. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai boxer started her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina Shevchenko won an additional medal in the year 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold in 2011, and won as the IFMA Amateur World MuayThai Champion in 2016. Antonia began her professional journey back in 2003. She has taken home numerous championships, including the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Champion, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. The following two bouts came at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko dedicated herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged absence of MMA. She came back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa via unanimous decision and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina used her superior fighting techniques in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended following this victory. Antonina Shevchenko debuted in UFC in her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her debut fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the evening for this bout. Shevchenko won her first three fights before losing them to Katlyn Cahookagian, Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
